6100 Troubleshooting & Maintenance Charts

 

 

TROUBLESHOOTING - There are many options to this model, this chart is for the generic version. If

The following chart shows some troubleshooting activities an operator or maintenance person can easily accomplish.
Troubleshooting activities that go beyond the scope of those listed below are to be undertaken with input from
Kinematic Automation Service Personnel.

DESCRIPTION

WHERE TO TROUBLESHOOT

Blower not running

Check connection, flow switch, power, blower readout setting

Erroneous temperature  indication

Check T/C wire connections for tightness
Check for broken weld lead

No fluid in dip tank but pump running

Check fluid levels in reservoirs, refill as necessary (use caution when opening reservoirs which may be under pressure.

Heater not running

Check fuses, connections and continuity of heater element

Bearing Packing

Pack all bearings bi-annually

Bearings reside on the Take-Up and Payoutchucks (2 ea.)

Machine Cleaning

As necessary, when the system is dusty or whenever pulleys and drive drum show smudging

Dust with clean, dry cloth. Use a clean, soft cloth and isopropyl alcohol to clean pulleys

Dip Tank Assembly Cleaning

Clean tank, idlers and squeegee rods before changing reagents

Remove tank, tank idler and squeegeerods.  Clean with solvent (refer to company policies, MSDS of reagent and solvent before using any cleaning agent

Reagent Plumbing Replacement

Replace all plumbing whenever clogged or when reagent type is changed

Remove all plumbing components and replace with unused parts
