QS 5242 Custom Device Assembly Platform

Kinematic Automation’s QS 5242 Custom Device Assembly Platform cuts laminated
reagent cards into multiple, precisely dimensioned test strips.  The strips are inspected
for reject marks to ensure that no failed product makes it into the finished device.  Good
and only good strips are then transferred into a molded plastic cassette housing.  The
system completes the assembly by placing the upper cassette half onto the lower half
and pressing the assembly closed.  A final inspection takes place and the remaining
inspected, good assemblies are delivered to downstream packaging equipment.
